On June 1st, 2025, we witnessed a historic milestone at Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island: the first-ever international soccer match hosted at the venue — featuring Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and Nicaragua 🇳🇮.

The friendly match delivered all the ingredients of a memorable game. Puerto Rico started strong, dominating the first half and scoring early thanks to a goal from Darren Ríos, assisted by Gerald Díaz. With sharp passes and intense pressure, they kept Nicaragua at bay during the opening 45 minutes.

But the second half brought a dramatic shift. Nicaragua adjusted their lineup, found their rhythm, and began to push forward. Their efforts paid off when Bancy Hernández scored the equalizer with a powerful header in the 60th minute. Both teams pushed for a winner in the final minutes, but the scoreboard remained locked at 1–1.

More Than a Match

This wasn’t just a game — it was a shared experience between fans, players, and two passionate nations. For many, it was the first time witnessing an international match live in Rhode Island. For us at Your ID Inc., it was the realization of a vision: bringing global football to new communities in meaningful ways.

Executing an event of this scale took months of planning and collaboration across teams, cities, and time zones. From media to logistics, from partnerships to design, every detail mattered. And it all came together beautifully.

A Global Team in Action

With collaborators from over 14 countries, we brought this match to life with heart, hustle, and shared purpose. What happened off the pitch was just as inspiring as what happened on it — a reminder of the unifying power of sport and the impact of shared identity.

The glowing feedback we’ve received from fans, players, and partners is a clear sign: this is just the beginning.

We’re proud of what we created together — and we can’t wait to do it again.
